Praxis Partners was established to help universities prepare students for meaningful careers by integrating readiness throughout the undergraduate experience—not just in the career center.

My approach is shaped by two distinct but complementary career paths: 17 years in corporate talent development at Walmart and Sam's Club, where I designed learning programs and managed organizational development initiatives at Fortune 1 scale, and recent years in higher education career services, where I've experienced firsthand the challenges and opportunities of preparing students for competitive job markets.

This dual perspective allows me to understand both what employers actually need from graduates and how universities can realistically deliver those outcomes. I know how corporate hiring decisions are made. I understand academic culture and constraints, and I've learned that the most effective career preparation happens when curriculum and career services work in concert, not in silos.

Approach:

I believe career readiness is everyone's work—faculty, career services professionals, academic leaders, and employers all play essential roles. My consulting practice focuses on creating the structures, skills, and alignment that allow these groups to collaborate effectively toward shared student success outcomes.
